Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to your use of guyferdman.com and to any coaching or marketing services you buy from Guy Ferdman ("I," "me," "my"). Some bookings and payments are processed through systems operated by Satori Prime LLC, the company I co-founded. By using this site, booking a call or buying a service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

If we sign a separate written agreement for your engagement, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these terms.

What coaching is, and isn't

Coaching is a partnership focused on your growth, performance, relationships and nervous system regulation. It is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, medical care or the diagnosis or treatment of any mental or physical health condition. It is also not legal, financial, tax or investment advice.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and results, in your life and in your business. If you are under the care of a doctor or mental health professional, please keep working with them, and talk with them before making changes to any treatment.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or call or text 988 in the United States right away. Coaching is not a crisis service.

The diagnostic and other content

The Leadership Pattern Diagnostic and everything else on this site is for education and self-reflection only. It is not a psychological, medical or clinical assessment, and your result should not be used to make health decisions.

Practices described on this site, including breathing and movement exercises, are optional. Stop any practice that causes discomfort, and check with your doctor first if you have a medical condition.

Results and testimonials

Testimonials on this site are shared word for word from real clients and describe their individual experiences. They are not typical and they are not a promise or guarantee of any result. Your results depend on many factors, including your circumstances, commitment and effort.

Figures about my own work, such as revenue, ad spend and number of people coached, describe my past experience and are not predictions of what you will achieve.

Fees and payments

Prices are shown on this site or at checkout and are in US dollars. By purchasing, you authorize the charge to your chosen payment method. For monthly engagements, you authorize a recurring charge each month until you cancel.

Refund terms for each offer are set out on its checkout page or in your coaching agreement. Where none are stated, fees for sessions and time already delivered are non-refundable.

To cancel a monthly engagement, email me before your next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for.

Scheduling and sessions

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a session. Sessions missed without that notice, or more than 15 minutes late, may be counted as used. I will always give you as much notice as possible if I need to reschedule.

Sessions happen by video call. You are responsible for a quiet, private space and a working connection. Sessions are not recorded without both of our agreement.

Text message terms

If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive messages about appointments, scheduling and your coaching. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Marketing services

Marketing, funnel, automation and fractional work is governed by a separate proposal or agreement that sets out scope, fees, timelines and ownership of deliverables. Unless that agreement says otherwise, I make no guarantee of specific revenue, leads, ad performance or other business results.

Intellectual property

The content, copy, design, diagnostic, frameworks and materials on this site and in our work together belong to me or my licensors. You may use materials I give you for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, republish or use them to coach or train others without my written permission.

Using this site

Please don't misuse this site. That includes trying to break its security, scraping it at scale, submitting false information, or using it for anything unlawful. I may refuse service to anyone who does.

This site links to other websites and services I don't control, such as scheduling, payment and messaging providers. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

This site and my services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, I disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of this site or my services. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for the service that gave rise to the claim in the three months before it arose.

Some places do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If a concern comes up, please email me first. Most issues can be resolved with one honest conversation. If we can't resolve it, any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes apply from that date and do not affect purchases you have already made.
