Privacy Policy

Who this policy covers

This website, guyferdman.com, is operated by Guy Ferdman ("I," "me," "my"). Some bookings, payments and client communications are handled through systems operated by Satori Prime LLC, the company I co-founded. This policy explains what information is collected through this site and those systems, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information I collect

Information you give me

• Diagnostic answers. Your answers to the Leadership Pattern Diagnostic are scored in your own browser. They are not sent to me unless you choose to enter your name and email to receive your result, in which case your name, email, answers and result are sent to my client management system.
• Booking details. When you book a consultation, the scheduling form collects the information it asks for, such as your name, email, phone number and any notes you add.
• Payment details. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. I receive confirmation of your payment and basic billing details. I do not receive or store your full card number.
• Messages. Anything you send me by email, WhatsApp, text message or social media.
• Coaching information. If we work together, what you choose to share in sessions and between them. This is treated as confidential and handled as described in the Confidentiality section below.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data. Like most websites, the servers that host this site record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit.
• Browser storage. The site stores a small setting in your browser's session storage so the handwritten logo animation plays only once per visit. It contains no personal information and clears when you close the tab.
• Third-party content. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the booking calendar is loaded from my scheduling provider. These services may receive your IP address and may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.

This site does not currently use advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How I use your information

• To respond to you, schedule and hold consultations and sessions, and deliver coaching you have purchased
• To process payments and keep business and tax records
• To send appointment confirmations and reminders by email or text message
• To send occasional emails about my work, if you have given me your email. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe
• To keep this site secure and working properly
• To meet legal obligations

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who I share it with

I share information only with service providers that help me run this site and my practice, and only as much as they need to do their job:

• Website hosting for guyferdman.com
• HighLevel (LeadConnector) for client management, scheduling, forms, and email and text message delivery
• Payment processors for payments
• Google for web fonts
• Meta (WhatsApp) if you choose to message me there

I may also disclose information if required by law, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a transfer of my business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

Text messages

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, I may text you about appointments, scheduling and your coaching. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver the messages.

Confidentiality of coaching

What you share with me in coaching is kept confidential. I do not share it with anyone without your permission, except where disclosure is required by law or where I believe there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or someone else.

Coaching is not therapy or medical care, and coaching conversations are not covered by the legal privileges that apply to doctors, therapists or attorneys.

How long I keep information

I keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above. Client records are generally kept for the length of our work together plus a reasonable period afterward for business, tax and legal purposes. You can ask me to delete your information sooner, subject to anything I am legally required to keep.

How I protect it

I use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact me right away.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correction and deletion. You can ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it.
• Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email me.
• Text messages. Reply STOP at any time.
• Cookies and browser storage. You can block or clear them in your browser settings. Parts of the booking calendar may not work without them.

To make a request, email guy.ferdman@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. I will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

California residents

You can request the categories and specific pieces of personal information I have collected about you, and ask me to delete or correct it. I do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law. This site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. Third parties do not track you across other sites through this site.

Visitors from the UK, EU and elsewhere

I process your information to provide services you request, to meet legal obligations, for my legitimate interest in running my practice, or with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Children

This site and my coaching are for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given me information, contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, I will make reasonable efforts to let clients know.
